Bangkok—Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII) expanded its international network through its participation at the Asia-Pacific Association for International Education (APAIE) that took place in Bangkok, Thailand, on 13-17 March 2023.
Delegates from 55 countries attended the event that covered workshops and international educational exhibitions.

Dian Sari Utami, S.Psi., M.A. (Director of Partnership/Office of International Affairs), Dr. Joni Aldilla Fajri, S.T., M.Eng. (Head of Foreign Partnership), and Nihlah Ilhami, S.Pd. The participants utilized the event to attract new partners and strengthen collaboration with existing partners by exploring collaborative opportunities such as dual degree program pilots, credit transfer programs, short programs, lecturer exchanges and research collaborations.
During this event, UII fostered collaborations with new partners. They include the University of Pécs (Hungary), Sias University (China), Universiti Malaysia Perlis (Malaysia), Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), Panpacific University (Philippines), Jeonbuk National University (South Korea), Marmara Üniversitesi (Turkey), Kwansei Gakuin University (Japan), Kochi University of Technology (Japan), Université Paris Cité (France), University of California, Berkeley (US), University of Wyoming (America), Eurasian National University (Kazakhstan), and Absolute Internship.
