About International Office
Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII) is committed in perfecting the integration of Islamic values in education, research, community development and Islamic endeavors. Its mission is to upholding Islamic teachings and values through development and dissemination of knowledge, technology, culture and arts to produce individuals with leadership skills, knowledgeable, professional, independent and morally and ethically responsible. Within this value, the university committed to the Excellency of quality assurance.
In order to strengthen the internationalization UII and actively involve in international activities, UII established a Directorate of Cooperation, Marketing and Alumni (DPKA). In order to support operational roles of DPKA, UII establish an International Office, with the roles as followed: (1) assessing and implementing international cooperation intensively with abroad partner university, (2) providing student services for international students in area of immigration issues, campus orientation, academic advice from their arrival to departure date, (3) assisting lectures and students of UII who are participating collaborative program with abroad partner university, and (4) providing services and advices for foreign lectures and researches who will be affiliate or collaborate with UII.
After International Program UII (IP UII) integration, International Office restructure under the IP UII Management. However, not only as one part in supporting IP UII’s roles in order to internationalize UII through international student admission and collaboration implementation; International Office also facilitates other units in UII.
